How to use signal private messenger ?
If you want to use signal messenger then follow all these steps very carefully.
Note:- When you open it for first time then it will show this type of interface as shown in screenshot. So if you want to read "terms and privacy policy" then click on it otherwise click on "continue".
After then it will ask for some permissions so click on "continue" and give the permissions according to your need as shown in screenshot.
Now, you have to follow some steps to create your account on signal.
Step 1 :- Enter your phone number and then click on the "next" button and then you have to enter a code as shown in screenshot.
Step 2 :- After entering that code, you have to set up your profile i.e. you have to enter your first and last name (optional) and then click on "next" button as shown in screenshot.
Step 3 :- After clicking on it, you have to create your signal pin that must be at least 4 digits, so after creating it click on "next" button and then you have to "renter your pin" for confirmation as shown in screenshot.
Note :-
- This pin is just similar to two step verification feature of WhatsApp.
- You can also create alphanumeric pin by clicking on "Create Alphanumeric pin", this type of pin consists both alphabets and numbers (digits) so you can select according to you.
After performing these steps correctly, your account will be created on the signal. Now there is an Interesting feature in it that is called "note to self". It means that you can also send messages to youself.
An Interesting feature
Some key points related to "Note to self" feature:-
- All the messages in "note to self" are end-to-end encrypted.
- You can use this feature to note down some Important messages that you want to share later.
- You can also share files to your linked devices through this feature.
- Disappearing feature is also works in "note to self" feature, i.e. you can send disappearing messages to yourself.
How can you get this feature ?
You can get this feature simply by following these steps which are given below:-
Step 1 :- Open signal app and then click on the "pencil" icon at the bottom left corner then you will see your contact list and also you will see a option of "Note to self" so click on it as shown in screenshot.
Note :- If you are unable to find it then you can also enter "Note to self" in the search bar.
Step 2 :- Then on next screen, you can send or type anything according to you as shown in screenshot.
So guys you can also share any files by clicking on "plus" icon, that's all about this feature.
Is signal App more secured than WhatsApp ?
This is the most asked question, everyone is confused about this question, so now I am going to tell you about this question. I am sure you will easily understand after reading this.
In terms of privacy, signal is more secured than WhatsApp, here is a image given below, through which you can easily identify that how much signal is secured than WhatsApp.
Now there is another image of comparison between normal WhatsApp messenger and WhatsApp business. You can see that how much your data is linked i.e. WhatsApp is collecting almost every Important data of every user.

This is also a most demanding question but there is one thing that is very Important i.e. It depends on you whether you should use signal instead of WhatsApp.
Because the meaning of data or privacy is different for everyone i.e. there are so many peoples who don't care about their data or privacy but they are more concerned about their WhatsApp chats, secret photos and much more.
Similarly there are also those type of peoples who are more concerned about their privacy or data. So it is not possible to give the accurate answer of this question.
